Delegates to Cornhusker Girls State are selected by
American Legion Auxiliary units across the state of
Nebraska. The Auxiliary units may work with high school
teachers and counselors who assist in evaluating potential
candidates. Auxiliary units use a variety of methods from
personal interviews to essay contests to select their
delegates.
The final selection of a delegate is the sole
responsibility of the sponsoring American Legion Auxiliary
unit.
